Dorothy M. Lee, 84, Fertile, MN, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile.

Dorothy Mae (Droppo) Lee was born on November 11, 1937 in Fertile, MN. She was united in marriage to Willard J. Lee on October 5, 1957 in Fertile.

Dorothy loved to garden, whether it be flower or vegetable gardens, she loved to tend to them and keep them pretty. She also had a love for cooking and enjoyed making meals for her family. Scratch off tickets and the casino were another love for Dorothy. Watching the Vikings and Twins on TV would pass the time and she enjoyed cheering them on.

Over the years, Dorothy worked at the Top Notch Steakhouse, Town & Country Restaurant, and Mac's Café.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at Fair Meadow Nursing Home for the care that was given to Dorothy.

She is survived by her children, Patrick Lee, Ellendale, ND, Lori Lee, Crookston, MN, Michael Lee, Fertile, MN, and Susan (Monty) Olson, Glyndon, MN; grandchildren, Cody Meyer, Kyle Olson, Cayla Olson, Jamie Danielson, Jesse Danielson, and Billy Danielson; sisters-in-law, Linda Sylstad, Marian Gullekson, and Phyllis Hanson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother, Ione Droppo; husband, Willard J. Lee; son, Wade Lee; brothers, Richard Underdahl and his wife, Janet, Walter Sylstad, and Gordon Sylstad; sisters, Marilyn Sylstad and Beverly Sylstad; and brothers-in-law, Chuck Hanson and Glen Gullekson.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, August 1, 2022 at Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home, Fertile, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral at the funeral home.

Interment: Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Fertile, MN.
