Doris M. Bremer, 86, Twin Valley, MN, died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley, MN.

Doris was born on January 17, 1931, in Baudette, MN, the daughter of Madel and Verna (nee Eklund) Evenstad. She was united in marriage to Charles Bremer who was from Lockhart, MN, in October of 1950. They resided in Moorhead, MN, from 1967 until 2013, when she moved to the Twin Valley Living Center.

Doris had been employed by Big Valley Market and Warehouse Market, many years ago, both in Moorhead. She had her own shop and also worked for others working with ceramics. She finished her working career as an attendant for the 12 ^th avenue toll bridge where she worked for many years. She also enjoyed her trips with friends on the bus to gamble in Mahnomen at the Shooting Star Casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, and youngest son, Thomas. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Debra of Atlantic, IA; and oldest son Steven (Vicki) of Coon Rapids, MN; and her best friend of over 40 years, Edith Logue. She will be remembered for her friendliness and smile by all the people that she met.

Funeral: 11:00AM, Monday, March 27, 2017, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN, with visitation one hour before the service.

Burial: Ada City Cemetery, Ada, MN.
