Diane Hilde, age 53, of Dilworth, Minnesota, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Merit Care Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.
Diane L. Hilde was born April 18, 1954, the daughter of Gisle and Alice (Shaw) Hilde in Ada, Minnesota. She grew up on the family farm in Keene Township southwest of Ulen, Minnesota. Diane attended school in Ulen and graduated with the class of 1973. After high school, she helped her parents on the farm and also cared for most of her nieces and nephews while they were young. In 1997, she moved to Dilworth, Minnesota, where she had lived since.
Diane loved animals. It didn't matter if they were wild animals, animals on the farm or her pets. She enjoyed doing crafts, puzzles and playing bingo. Some of her fondest memories were the times spent with her family during holidays, helping them out in different ways or just being with them. Diane will allways be remembered for being a friend to so many and helping so many people in so many different ways.
Diane is survived by her parents Gisle and Alice Hilde, Ulen, MN; one brother, Michael (Lesa) Hilde, Ulen, MN; three sisters, Debra (Terry) Armstrong and Dorene (Larry) Rurup all of Moorhead, MN and DeEtt (David) Braseth, Ulen, MN; her special friend Robert Jenkins, Dilworth, MN and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by all of her grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 6th at 10:30 AM in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ulen, MN Visitation will be Tuesday From 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM all in the church. Visitation will also one hour before services at the church on Wednesday. Pastor John Martinson will officiate with Carol Lockhart serving as organist and Monica Winter serving as vocalist. Pallbearers will be all of her nieces and nephews, Meranda Malakowsky, Luke Malakowsky, Nickoli Braseth, Natasha Braseth, Nolan Braseth, Shawn Hilde, Shelby Hilde, Samuel Hilde and Bradon Rurup. Her honorary pallbearers are her great nieces and nephews, Joe Malakowsky, Braden, Jocelyn and Ansley Braseth. Burial will be in the North Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Ulen, MN
