Dennis L. Woltjer, 81, Borup, MN passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at his residence in Borup under the care of his family.

Dennis was a graduate from Borup High School in 1959, soon after on November 15, 1961 he married his one and only love. Shirley and Dennis had a wonderful and long-lasting marriage of 61 years. Together they raised two children, Curtis and Colleen.

Dennis was a Sunday school teacher, a deacon, and head usher at Winchester Lutheran Church in Borup. His church meant a great deal to him, and he was proud to be a part of their congregation.

Dennis was a dairy farmer for many years, he enjoyed being outside working with his cattle. Dennis loved his farm. He enjoyed auction sales and collecting toy tractors.

Dennis was a loving and kind husband, father and grandfather. He never missed a chance to tell his family he loved them and what they meant to him.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Curtis (Renae); daughter, Colleen (Mike) Anda; and one and only granddaughter, Brianna Woltjer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Anna; and brother, Vernon.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Winchester Lutheran Church, Borup, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the funeral at the church.

Interment: Winchester Lutheran Cemetery, Borup, MN.
