Dennis C. Dunham, age 74, of Ulen, MN, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 in the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley, MN.

Dennis Dunham was born February 28, 1938 in Fargo, ND, the only son of Harold "Si" and Ruby (Bjerke) Dunham. He grew up in the Ulen, MN, area and attended country school. As a young man, Dennis began helping his father on the family farm.

On March 31, 1967 Dennis was united in marriage to Dorothy Ronngren in Moorhead, MN. The couple made their home on the farm where Dennis' parents also lived. Dennis and Dorothy lived and worked on the farm for 30+ years. Following Si's death, they sold the farm and moved into Ulen. Although retired from farming, Dennis continued to help area farmers for several years. Due to failing health, Dennis recently entered the Twin Valley Living Center and Dorothy remains in their home in Ulen.

Dennis was a faithful member of Walworth Baptist Church since 1973. He was quite musical and during church enjoyed singing and playing the trombone, even as recent as last year. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing and following the local high school sporting events.

Surviving Dennis is his wife, Dorothy of Ulen; Brothers-in-law, Don (Ileen) Ronngren and Gerald Grefsrud both of Pelican Rapids, MN; sister-in-law, Donna Oyama of Bennington, VT; two aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister-in-law, Elaine Grefsrud and brother-in-law, Alvin Oyama.

Memorial Services were held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2 pm at Walworth Baptist Church, rural Ulen, MN, with a time of gathering one hour prior at the church. Officiating was Pastor Ben Carpenter with Danita Moore serving as organist and Shelby Moore serving as organist. Vocalists were Rick Safar and Roger and Dawana Sorensen. Urn bearer was Don Ronngren.

Inurnment was in the Walworth Baptist Cemetery, rural Ulen, MN.
