Debra (Debbie) D. Todd, 59, Halstad, MN, died on Friday, October 23, 2015, under the care of hospice and her family, at the Halstad Living Center, Halstad, MN.

She was born on April 10, 1956 in Fargo, ND to Donald and Eunice Wang. She grew up in Halstad, MN and graduated from Halstad High School in 1974. Debbie married Dwight Todd on July 6, 1974 and they made their home in rural Halstad. Debbie started her career at the Red River State Bank in Halstad, MN rising to the role of vice president and ended her career as a loan specialist for AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Ada, MN in 2011.

Debbie was seriously injured in a car accident on May 24, 2007 and was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury. With her strong work ethic and support from her family and co-workers, Debbie returned to work and enjoyed time with family and friends after many months of rehabilitation. But regardless of how hard she tried, she was unable to fully recover from her brain injury. It was a miracle that she survived the car accident and we are grateful for the additional eight years that we shared with her.

She loved spending time with children, family and friends and enjoyed a full house. She always volunteered to help those in need and did not know how to say "no". Debbie was very involved in vacation bible school, the church contemporary music group, the high school booster club, and after prom activities. She was also the number one cheerleader for her husband's, children's, and grandchildren's sporting events. Debbie enjoyed music, singing, getting everyone to dance, traveling, playing cards, walking her dogs, and fishing on the lake. Above all, the most important thing to her was the relationship she built with each and every person.

Debbie is survived by her husband Dwight; daughters April Todd (James Golden) of Washington D.C. and Ashley Harris (Marzel) of Crystal, MN; sons Ryan Todd (Amber) of Horace, ND and Derek Todd (Becky) of Halstad, MN; five grandchildren (Dylan, Jordan, Nellie, Ledger, and Idella); parents Donald and Eunice Wang of Halstad, MN; brothers Dean Wang (Denise - deceased) of Chisago City, MN and Larry Wang (Bonnie) of Prairie Farm, WI; father and mother-in-law Thomas and Darlene Todd of Hendrum, MN; sisters-in-law Terri Helland (John) of Fergus Falls, MN and Micki Antoine (Rick) of West Fargo, ND; brothers-in-law Mike Todd of Farmington, MN and Brad Todd (Kristie) of Farmington, MN; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Denise Wang and niece Heidi Helland.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memorial of Debbie to the Brain Trauma Foundation (braintrauma.org).

Visitation: Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5 to 7pm with a 6:30pm prayer service at the Halstad Lutheran Church, Halstad, MN.

Memorial Service: Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2pm at the Halstad Lutheran Church, Halstad, MN.
