Dean Streiff, age 66, of Twin Valley, MN, died February 24, 2016, in Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley.

Dean L. Streiff was born November 1, 1949, the son of Ralph and Doris (Hall) Streiff in Zumbrota, MN. He was raised in Pine Island, MN, where he attended school. After graduation, Dean worked in the area as a meat cutter. On May 22, 1971, Dean was united in marriage to Nancy Hamm at Zumbrota. The couple made their home in Pine Island, MN, and Grand Meadow, MN, before moving to Twin Valley in 1985. He and Nancy purchased the Twin Valley Meats and Processing business which they operated until retiring in 2005.

Dean's favorite pastimes included camping, fishing, and making different kinds of sausages.

Dean is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Streiff of Twin Valley; a son, Chad (Ginger) Streiff of Jackson, MN; daughter, Tanya Richert of Red Wing, MN; six grandchildren: Robert, Deanna, Nala, Kiara, Talia, and Lyndsey; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne Streiff of Pine Island, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Blaine.
