David Stordahl, 58, rural Hendrum, MN, died Friday October 12, 2012, at his residence with his family by his side and under the care of hospice.
David Wayne Stordahl was born April 13, 1954, in Moorhead, MN, the son of Jerold and Carol (Ingberg) Stordahl. He graduated from Hendrum High School. In 1974 he married his high school sweetheart, Debra Hauck in Ada, MN. They lived in Perley, MN, and later moved to Hendrum, and in 1983 moved to the farm outside of Hendrum. He owned and operated S & S Drywall for 35 years and worked with his sons and nephew, Dustin Reinhart He also worked for Hauck & Buchholz Drywall Inc. In the 1990's, he built a shop on the farm to work on motors. David enjoyed restoring old cars, deer hunting, fishing, cutting up wood and especially time with his grandkids. He was always busy and loved to work.
David is survived by his wife, Deb, sons Nicholas (Jennifer) Stordahl, Georgetown, MN, Nathan Stordahl, Perley, MN, three grandchildren, Haley, Ella, and Addyson, his mother Carol Stordahl, Winger, MN, brothers, Jerry (Marilyn) Halstad, MN, Tim, Fosston, MN, sisters, Debra (Larry) Mattson, Phoenix, AZ, Susie (David) Christianson, Fertile, MN, Cindy (Tom) Horvath Winger, MN, Becky Stordahl, Winger, MN, and Candace Stordahl, Florida, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded by his father, Jerold, and his mother-in-law, Barbara Hauck Olson.

Memorial Service: 2PM Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hendrum.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
