David Moore, age 57 of Waubun, Minnesota, died Friday, May 16, 2008 in the MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, North Dakota.

David Allen Moore was born July 7, 1950 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Alice (Michaud) Moore. He was raised and attended school in Marshalltown. As a young man he worked with his father and later joined the Job Core. While in the Job Core he worked in Pine Ridge, Nebraska. David later returned to Marshalltown where he was employed with Lennox Heating and Air Condoning for several years. He also owned and operated his own auto body repair shop. In the early 2000's he moved to the Waubun, Minnesota community where he has lived since. David was employed at the Shooting Star Casino at time of his death.

David was an avid fisherman, loved spending time on his motorcycle and was a talented musician. Something he will long be remembered for was his love of cooking.

David is survived by his fiancée, Nora Listul of Waubun, three sons: Jeremiah David Moore, Marshalltown, IA; Joshua McCallister, Marshall, MO; Joshua Moore, What Cheer, IA; two grandsons; two brothers, Donavon Moore and Kevan Moore, both of Mahnomen, MN; and two sisters, Jay Longus and Mary Ann Moore, both of Waubun. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sports Complex in Naytahwaush, MN. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, White Earth, MN.
