Dannie L. Johnson, 68, Hillsboro, North Dakota, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Hillsboro Medical Center in Hillsboro.

Dannie Lee Johnson was born on June 11, 1954 in Crookston, MN. He was the 6 ^th child born to Alvin and Edna (Raad) Johnson of Ada, formerly of Beltrami, MN.

Although Dannie's work life was cut short due to his health, he stayed busy with bible studies, and read hundreds of western novels. He enjoyed online shopping and loved to give gifts. This was noted in his many donations to various charities. Dannie's family believes he wanted to give back to others because of all the help he had received throughout his life.

He is survived by his former wife, Bonnie Dirks (Mager); children, Bobbie (Kelly) Schultz, Aron Johnson, and Crystal (Juan) Trevino; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Dean and Daryl; sisters, Daralynn, Dolly (Tony) Wambach, and DeAnn; and many nieces and nephews.

Dannie is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Edna; two sisters, baby girl Johnson, and Darlene (Johnson) Anderson; brother, best friend, and caregiver, Deon Johnson; and son, Jerry Lee Johnson.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the memorial service at the funeral home.

Inurnment: Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Flom Township, Norman County, MN.
