Daniel Reed Scheff, age 66, of Mahnomen, MN, passed away at his home on February 16, 2021.

Daniel was born May 24, 1954, to Reuben and Lorraine (Hogenson) Scheff in Fosston, MN, and spent his childhood on the family farm outside of Mahnomen.  On November 1, 1980, he married Roberta Clifton in Bejou, MN. They raised three children at their home in Mahnomen. Daniel enjoyed farming and deer hunting. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving Daniel are his three children: Scott (Dawnyel) of Mahnomen, MN, Susan (Travis) of Menahga, MN, and Steven (Caylin) of Mentor, MN; three brothers: Robert (Jane) of Memphis, IN, Kim (Lori Ann) College Park, MD, and Todd of Mahnomen, MN; and seven grandchildren. Daniel is proceeded in death by his parents and wife, Roberta.

A Time of Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bejou, MN.
