Dale A. Tuven, 85, Twin Valley, Minnesota, died Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Twin Valley Living Center, Twin Valley.

Dale Arne Tuven was born November 19, 1930, at Dalton, MN, the son of Arne and Delna (Thompson) Tuven. He attended school near Dalton at the Park Dale Country School. As a young boy, he moved with his family to the Gary, MN, area and attended school. He served in the United States Army during the Korea War and after his honorable discharge; he returned home and worked on the Tuven family farm.

Dale was a bachelor for many years before he was united in marriage to Luvina Narum in 1981 and they made their home in Ada, MN. Dale was very social and enjoyed spending time with family, especially his stepsons and their families. He had worked for Harold Narum with Al's Disposal of Ada for a number of years. After he retired, he would help out on the David Narum farm. Luvina died in 1993, and Dale continued to live in Ada until moving to the Twin Valley Living Center in 2013.

Dale is survived by his step-sons, Harold (Margaret) Narum, David (Carol) Narum, both of Ada, Larry (Marion) Narum, Fargo, ND, Milford (Diane) Narum, Duluth, MN, Aldon (JoAnne) Narum, Moorhead, MN, his brother, Norman Tuven, Twin Valley, and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Luvina.

Funeral Service: 10:30 Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Twin Valley Living Center Chapel.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the living center.

Burial: Gary Cemetery, Gary, MN.
