Dahlia Ann Libby passed away in utero on March 7, 2023 and was born to Tara Libby and Teddy Millage Jr. on March 10, 2023 at 5:12 a.m.

September 19, 2022 was the day we found out we were having a baby.  On January 3, 2023 we found out she had full Trisomy 13.  Even though all odds were against us, we still fought against them.  By then, we decided to go on and see how much she would grow.  She acquired her own personality in the womb.  She already knew it was her home.  She disliked ultrasounds, but she loved listening to her siblings talk and rub mom's belly.  She loved her home so much she decided that's where she wanted to forever remember as she took her last breath. Our sweet Dahlia, not even born yet, has touched so many hearts and has been loved by so many family and friends throughout the reservation and states.

Dahlia will be deeply missed by her parents, Tara Libby and Teddy Millage Jr.; her sisters: Lila Berry, Sabrina Hanks and Faith Millage; her brothers: Desmond Thompson, Sam Berry Jr., Teddy Millage III and Davien Skramstad all of White Earth; grandparents: Cheryl Jackson, Gerald Libby Sr., Todd Bellanger Sr. and Stace Warren; great-grandparents, Grace Jackson and Cleo Warren all of White Earth.  She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and her We'ehs, Doreen Day and Alana Dickenson.

She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandparents: Charlotte & Peter Jackson Sr., Aaron & Marcianna Bevins, and Verna Millage; great-grandparents: Dennis Jackson, Ike & Thelma Libby, and Clifford, "Boosh" Warren; grandparents: Harriet St. Clair, Daniel "Dip" Thielen, and Teddy Millage Sr.; uncles: Donnie "Worm" St. Clair, Craig "Moose" Jackson Jr. and Pete Jackson; cousins: Tiffany Jackson, Natasha Jackson, Alexis St. Clair, Destiny Person, Samantha Jackson, Brennen "Bearman" Kier, and Aveeyon Kier; and aunt, Landa Wichern.

Funeral Services for Dahlia will be held at the White Earth Community Center on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11 am.  Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 15 ^th at 5 pm with a ceremony at 6 pm and continue until the funeral on Thursday.  Burial will be held in St. Columba Episcopal Cemetery, White Earth, MN, in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, family prefers either green plants or a stuffed animal in memory of Dahlia which will be donated to Essentia Health St. Mary's 4 ^th Floor and NICU.
