Obituary

Craig N. Anderson

Craig Noel Anderson of Halstad, MN, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, just two weeks prior to his 66th birthday. Craig was born on December 20, 1945, the son of Ordean and Gladyce (Olson) Anderson. He graduated from Halstad High School. Craig later attended Interstate Business School in Fargo and returned to operate the family farm near Halstad for many years. Craig was a very giving and fun loving person. He took care of his mother after his father died. Craig volunteered at the Halstad Living Center for several years and enjoyed helping the residents. Craig's favorite past times were attending the Halstad High School athletic games and following the Minnesota Twins.

Craig is survived by two brothers, Dr. Ronald Anderson, Reno, Nevada, and Jerry Anderson, Ottawa, Ontario; a niece, Tari Nicolas of Austin, Texas, a nephew, Dr. Jaime Anderson of Hagerstown, Maryland, and three grand nephews and
one grand niece, a cousin, Norma Jean Nelson, and an aunt,
Verona Shaffer, and many cousins.

The family would like to give a sincere "Thank You" to the staff at the Living Center for all the help they provided Craig during these past two years. And, a special "Thank You" to Sandy and Alaina Adams, for the special bond they built with Craig and for all the help they provided Craig over the years. He is loved and will be missed dearly by family and friends.
