Chase Charles Christianson, 21, of Fertile, MN, died on Thursday, December 8, 2011, in Fertile. He was born on February 3, 1990, to Spencer and Lisa (Dupree) Christianson at Fargo, ND. He was baptized Norman Lutheran Church and confirmed at Faaberg Lutheran Church, Rindal, MN. Chase graduated from the Fertile-Beltrami High School in 2008. From an early age to passing, he had actively worked with his family's beekeeping business.
Throughout his life, Chase was active in many sports, wrestling and playing some baseball in high school. He also played basketball and football with friends. During the summer evenings he was either at the golf course snipin shots or at the softball field playing leftyball. In autumn and winter he enjoyed hunting with family, especially his cousins Cole and Aaron, ice fishing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling
Since he was a young child, Chase was playful with a joyful attitude that was infectious to all around him. You would often find him wearing flannel shirt, with a huge smile that drew everyone in to join in the fun. Always up for having a good time with friends, Chase was an entertaining fan at sporting events, rallying other to cheer the players to victory. Encouraging and caring for others allowed friends and family to see Chase's tender side. More than anything, Chase loved hanging with family and friends, who loved him no matter what shenanigans he got himself into. May God bless the memories we have of Chase.
Chase is survived by his parents, Spencer and Lisa Christianson, one brother Derek, and one sister Amanda, all of Fertile, grandparents Lyla Christianson of Twin Valley, MN, Rosie Dupree of Nampa, ID, and Charles (LaVonne) Dupree of Breckenridge, MN; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
