Caroline Boswell, age 50, of Mahnomen, MN, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 25, 2023, at the Mahnomen Health Center.

Caroline Kari Boswell was born June 8, 1973, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Richard Boswell Sr. and Sandra Thompson.  She grew up and attended school in the metro area.  As a young lady, Caroline entered the workforce trying out various jobs, with the most favorable employment at Mystic Lake Casino.  She battled some health problems early on which led to her declining health.  She has spent the past 15 years calling Mahnomen home.  She was blessed with three children and three grandchildren.

Caroline loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren but her nieces and nephews were pretty special to her as well.  She was very outgoing with a great sense of humor.  In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino and coloring.  Caroline was also a great cook and baker, making many delicious meals and sweets for her family and friends.  She will be missed by many who knew and loved her.

Caroline is survived by her children: Aaron Boswell, Racquel Boswell and Sandra Boswell; three grandchildren: Sebastion, Ashton and November; a sister, Ursula Boswell; a sister-in-law, Sarah Anton; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Thompson; a brother, Richard "Cricket" Boswell Jr.; a special nephew, Andrew Boswell and two of her favorite uncles, Frank Thompson and John Thompson.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 1 pm at the Naytahwaush Sports Comples in Naytahwaush, MN.  A Time of Gathering for friends and family will be held one hour prior.
