Carol E. (Roe) Johnson, 81, Mesa, AZ, formerly of Hendrum and Ada, MN, died Friday, December 29, 2017, at her home.

Carol Elaine Roe was born to Theodore and Clara (Trom) Roe on June 8, 1936, in Hendrum. She attended school in Hendrum and graduated from Hendrum-Perley High School in 1955.

Carol was united in marriage to John W. Johnson on August 5, 1956, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hendrum. She worked for a time at DeLendricies Department Store, secretary at the Hendrum School and eleven years at the Halstad Lutheran Memorial Home.

At the time of her passing she resided in Arizona.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Charlene Fisk, Cresco, IA; three grandchildren, Jon (Anna), Texas; Aaron, Texas; Leah (Jeremy) Tanghpanya, Iowa; great grandchildren, Keegan, Kyleigh, Owen, Asher, Lake; one brother, Howard (Betty), Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son-in-law, Paul Fisk and great grandson Coen Tanghpanya.

Graveside service: 11:00AM Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hendrum, MN, with lunch to follow at the church.
