Carol Kuehn, 74, of Ada, MN, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Carol Sarah Pippin was born on October 28, 1948 in Ada, MN to Carl and Agnes (Aanenson) Pippin. In her younger years, Carol enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles. She graduated from Ada High School. Carol married the love of her life, Ronald "Bones" Kuehn, on October 22, 1969 and they made their home in Ada for a short time and started their family. The Kuehn family then moved to Syre, MN, to enjoy life in the county. Over the years, Carol worked for many nursing homes as her true passion in life was caregiving. She had a 30+ year career at the Twin Valley Living Center, receiving her LPN license along the way. The residence she cared for over the years brought her so much joy and fulfillment in her life. In 2002, Ron and Carol moved to Ada after their home flooded. After Ron's passing in 2010, Carol retired and enjoyed taking care of her animals and family.

When she wasn't busying herself at work, Carol could be found with her family and friends, and she especially adored spending time with grandchildren. Having coffee uptown in Ada was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved watching Matlock on TV, reading books, doing puzzles, and resting after a long day. She loved animals and enjoyed caring for them. Carol had a fantastic sense of humor and was known for her gorgeous long white hair. Carol's memory will be forever cherished by her loved ones.

Carol is survived by her children: Jennifer (Kevin) Baxter, Amanda (Sonny Syverson) Kuehn, Ashley Kuehn, and Cody Kuehn; grandchildren, Christopher Baxter, Abigale Kuehn, Travis Syverson, Isaac Sauve, and Gavyn Kuehn; brothers, Wallace (Janice) Flyberg and Allen Pippin; and sister-in-law, Margo Flyberg.

Carol was preceded by her parents; husband, Ron; son, Chad Kuehn; grandchildren, Lydia Kuehn and Dusty DuChene; and siblings, Leland (Linda) Aanenson, Carl Pippin Jr., Donny Flyberg, and Larry Flyberg.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 starting at 12:00p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley, with a graveside service to follow at 2:00p.m. at the Syre Lutheran Cemetery, Syre, MN.
