Brooke Miller, age 33, of Virginia, MN, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2021, at her home.
Brooke Ann Miller, the daughter of Richard and Jodi (Miller) Kjolberg, was born October 15, 1988, in Fargo, ND. Most of her life, Brooke made her home in the Duluth, MN area. As a young woman, she attended Lake Superior College in Duluth and worked as a CNA. Brooke was blessed with a daughter, Emily Rose. She later moved to Virginia, MN, and was currently employed at Subway. Brooke was passionate about her heritage and loved to learn about Native American traditions. She was fun-loving, free-spirited, sassy, and always spoke her mind. Brooke was family oriented and often reached out to help those in need. She will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In Brooke's spare time, she enjoyed hanging out with her friends, shopping, traditional beading, and spoiling her cats, Princess and Autumn. She also liked playing the keyboard and listening to industrial style music.
Brooke is survived by her daughter, Emily Trille; brother, Tony Kjolberg; sister, Rachel Kjolberg; her niece and nephews: Raquelle Renae, Ricky James, and Kai Keith; and many aunts, uncles and extended family. Brooke was preceded in death and reunited with her father, Richard Sr; mother, Jodi; brother, Richard Jr; grandparents: Mary Oppegard, Murna Littlewolf, and Bob Kjolberg; and numerous extended family members.
Traditional Services will begin at 5:00 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex, Naytahwaush, MN, and continue until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, and CDC guidelines, social distancing will be practiced. Masks are required at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex.
