Bonnie J. Ness, 96, Halstad, MN, died, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the Halstad Living Center.

Bonnie Jean Warner was born March 12, 1916, on a farm near Grandin, ND. Her parents were Arthur and Rosella (Nick) Warner. She attended the Herberg country school in Traill County. Bonnie was united in marriage to Cyrus Ness on November 1, 1937, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church parsonage in Hendrum, MN. They farmed for many years and raised their children. She was a member of the Halstad Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.

Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Mavis (Richard) Flack, Hager City, WI, three grandchildren, Steven (Rhonda) Flack, Daniel (Angelique) Flack, and Nicole Ness, San Jose, CA, six great grandchildren, Hayden, Madeline, Sydney, Julia, Wyatt, and Elaina, one sister, Phyllis (David) Stetzel, Montague, CA, special nephew, Scott Warner, special niece, Audre Sorenson, and special friend, Karen Pitzenbarger. She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Cyrus in 1984, her son, Lowell in 1988, four brothers, and six sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Halstad Lutheran Church.

Funeral: 10:00AM, Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Halstad Lutheran Church, Halstad, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the service in the church.

Burial: Halstad South Cemetery, Halstad, MN.
