Bonnie Groezinger, 61, Ramsey, Minnesota died Saturday, September 8th, 2012 in her home after a long battle with cancer.

Bonita Ann Motteberg was born August 1, 1951 the daughter of Arnold and Gina (Lestmoe) Motteberg in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Bonnie was raised on the family farm near Gary, Minnesota and attended school in Gary, graduating with the class of 1969. After graduation, Bonnie moved to the Cities where she was employed before her marriage to David Garlick in 1971. They made their home in the Twin Cities where Bonnie worked various jobs while raising her two children. After their divorce in 1989, she continued to make her home in the Cities and was employed for Walman Optical for several years. In the late 1990's, Bonnie became employed by Cleaners One in Ramsey where she worked until the past few years. On October 29, 1999, Bonnie was united in marriage to Todd Groezinger in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have made their home in Ramsey since. Bonnie fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past four years.

Bonnie's favorite pastimes included riding motorcycle with her husband, shopping, attending drag races and caring for her beautiful flower gardens. She also enjoyed going to Duluth, spending time at Canal Park, watching the ships going through the harbor and her annual trip to the Minnesota State Fair and eating the food there. Bonnie loved spending time with her friends and family but she truly treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Todd of Ramsey, daughter, Tammy (James) Schlink of Blaine, MN; son, Chad (Nicole) Garlick of Coon Rapids, MN, brothers, Dave (Connie) Motteberg of Gary, MN James (Dara) Narum of Gary, MN, Roger Narum of Otsego, MN and Neil (Mary Ann) Narum of Douglas, ND; sisters Carol (Arlan) Wastweet of Audubon, MN and Kathy Motteberg of Andover, MN; grandchildren, Alicia, Brandon, Ryan and Ashley, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was held Wednesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka, Minnesota. Her funeral was held Thursday at 2:00pm at the Sundal Lutheran Church, rural Fertile, Minnesota with a visitation one hour before services at the church. Officiating was Pastor John Ahola with Jenny Hanson serving as organist and Dione Rasmussen serving as vocalist. Pallbearers were Scott Wastweet, Roger Narum, Darin Narum, Troy Narum Chris Motteberg and DJ Motteberg.

Interment was in Sundal Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fertile, MN
