Blaine Miles Arthur Jr, the infant son of Triniti and Blaine Arthur, died suddenly on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in their home. Blaine Miles Jr. was welcomed into this world by his loving mother and father, Blaine and Triniti (Antell) Arthur, at 10:52 am on September 16, 2017 at Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes. He was tenderly given his Indian name "Wagosh". He was a healthy baby boy weighing 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 21 inches long. Blaine was immediately surrounded by his excited grandparents, Bill and Cheryl Antell and Linda and Patrick Weyaus. Blaine was brought home to Mahnomen where he filled the house with joy. He was a calm and happy baby who loved to be cuddled. He was already sharing smiles and coos with mom and dad daily. Blaine passed away peacefully while sleeping on Thursday, October 19, 2017. The 33 days Blaine was in their arms changed his family forever. His all too brief life truly made a difference in the world and his precious memory will be cherished in their hearts always. He is survived by his mom and dad, Triniti and Blaine Arthur Sr of Mahnomen; his maternal grandparents: Bill and Cheryl Antell of Mahnomen, Katie (Darrell) Harrell and Erick Fjerstad; paternal grandparents, Linda and Patrick Weyaus of Detroit lakes, MN, and Herb Jackson of Bismark, ND; one brother, Donovan Arthur of New Brighton, MN; aunts and uncles: Haley Grendahl, Chris (Kat) Renshaw, Eric (Melissa) Renshaw, Brian (Jennifer) Arthur; Terrance (Blair) Arthur Sr; cousins: Jacob, Kevin, Brian Jr., Fabian, Lexus, Hazel, Brennen, Terry, Kayleigh, Kainon, Teri Sue, Bella, Carleen, Scotty, and Starlene; great aunts and uncles: Don and Winnie Hebert, Leonard Antell, Debra Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Darrell Arthur, Richard Arthur and Vickie Patrode; godfather, Christopher Fingalson; godmother, Mika May Stone; and many other extended family members. He was proceeded in death by Great Grandparents: Al and Birdie Smith, Melvina Antell, Hazel Arthur, Fred Weaver, Albert Wright and Donna Wright. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Beaulieu, MN. Visitation for Blaine will be held at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Mahnomen from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
