Beverly Rosell Walsberg, age 90 of Borup, Minnesota, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Beverly was born July 12, 1934, to Burnard and Margaret (Hennen) Babler on a farm near Borup.

Beverly attended country school and went on to graduate from Borup High School in 1952.

After graduating, she was employed at The Flowing Well, in rural Mahnomen, MN. She then moved to Fargo, ND where she worked for the Manchester Biscuit Company until being united in marriage to Duane Walsberg on December 26, 1954, in Moorhead, MN.

Duane and Beverly made their home in Moorhead until retiring to South Twin Lakes, near Naytahwaush, MN. In 1989 they sold their lake home and moved to Borup.

On May 21, 2012, Dewey passed away and Beverly continued living in their home until her passing.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Legionette Drill Team in Fargo for 17 years and volunteered much of her time with those organizations throughout that time.

She was also a member of the Night Riders Sno-Mobile Club of Waubun. She attended the Nee-Gon-Nee Lutheran Church, Roy Lake, MN. After returning to Borup she faithfully attended Winchester Lutheran Church where she enjoyed many friendships and much fellowship.

Beverly enjoyed life with her husband for 57 years. They traveled, loved dancing, NASCAR racing and gardening. She also loved coffee time spent with friends, crocheting, embroidering, coloring and doing puzzles.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents; her brother, Paul Babler; and sisters, Mavis Babler, Marjorie Hand-Krause and Shirley Gilcrease. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, September 16, 2024 at Winchester Lutheran Church, Borup, MN.

Visitation: One hour before the memorial service at the church.

Inurnment: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
