Beverly Midbo, age 73, of Lengby, MN, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN.
Beverly Jean Goodwin was born October 7, 1942, in White Earth, MN, to Thomas and Bessie (Hill) Goodwin. She grew up in Rice Lake, MN, attending school in Naytahwaush. Beverly raised five children and worked various jobs, including cleaning cabins and working at Stiners Nursery. In 1982, she moved to the village of Pine Bend, where she made her home until recently when her health prohibited her from doing so. Bev loved children and as an adult worked in daycare and became a foster parent for many children. She always looked forward to tribal elections where she opened her home and served as an election judge. Beverly was very family oriented and her pride and joy were all of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, slots and cards. She liked to spend time gardening, listening to Country Western music and watching the hummingbirds. Beverly's home was open to all and she was a gracious host to anyone who stopped by for a cup of coffee and a visit.
Beverly is survived by her children: Kevin Midbo of Mille Lacs, MN, Terri Midbo of Bagley, MN, Darla Midbo of Gully, MN, and Paulette Clark of Lengby, MN; brothers: Marcell (Janice) Goodwin, Daniel Goodwin, Clinton (Gloria) Goodwin, Cleve (Deborah) Goodwin, Darrel (Joyce) Goodwin, Larry Goodwin, and Alvis Goodwin; sisters, Denise (Vernon) Iverson and Louella (Eugene) Iverson; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
