Beverly Jackson, age 59, of rural Mahnomen, MN, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Mahnomen Health Center.

Beverly Rita, the daughter of Irvin and Bernice (Warren) Jackson, was born on December 12, 1962.  She grew up in Minneapolis, MN, then moved to White Earth, MN, with her family in 2008.  As a young woman, Beverly fell in love with Charles "Buzzy" Brown and couple spent their life together.  The couple was blessed with nine children and, over the years, they made their home in both the Minneapolis and Ponsford, MN, communities.  Beverly worked as a teacher's assistant at Anderson Elementary and Four Winds Public Schools.  After moving back to northern Minnesota, she was employed at the Shooting Star Casino and served as a personal care attendant for White Earth Home Health.  Beverly loved spending time with her family, going on car rides and listening to music. She also enjoyed gambling at the casino and scratching her lottery tickets. Beverly loved cooking for her family and was known for making the best dinners for the holidays.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beverly is survived by her children; Robert Jackson Sr., Joseph (Violet) Jackson, William (Tracy) Jackson, Gerald (Samantha) Jackson, Maria (Winston) Jackson, Charlene (Aron) Jackson, Alan Jackson-Brown Sr., Tammi Jackson, Charles Brown III, and Brandon Jackson; thirty two grandchildren; her brother, Harlan Jackson; and one sister, Judith Snowball.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Bernice Jackson; her brothers, Bruce and Gary Jackson; her sisters: Karen, Evelyn, and Cheryl Jackson; and her significant other, Charles 'Buzzy' Brown Jr.

Traditional Services will begin at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the Karen Jackson-Jones Residence, 25504 Bear Clan Drive, White Earth, MN, and continue thru Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
