Beverly Jane Bellanger (Ellis) was born on March 10, 1945, in White Earth, MN, to John Bellanger and Eliza Rock. In 1967, she married Delmar Ellis, and together they had 3 children.

Bev graduated from Park Rapids High School, class of '63. She started her education in nursing before switching to chemical dependency. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology/chemical dependency from Metropolitan State University, before dedicating more than 30 years of service to her community.

A gifted seamstress, Bev lovingly sewed many jingle dresses and grass dance regalia. She enjoyed photography and attending powwows. She loved going to bingo & the casino, playing fiercely competitive games of Scrabble, and listening to her favorite music (she LOVED Elvis music). She was known for her cooking; especially biscuits, frybread, napodin, and soups. Loved ones may remember "Ducky" by her little red car ("the shoe"), her license plate- MSDAISY, and her long fingernail.

Beverly Jane Bellanger (Ellis), age 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in Mahnomen, MN. Bev is survived by her children: Carla Bellanger, Pamela Ellis, Kim Galvan, Char Ellis, and Hector Ruiz; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sisters: Geraldine Bellanger, Irene Adams, Theresa Bellanger, Evelyn Bellanger, Marlene Bellanger, and Roberta Bellanger.

Welcoming Bev are her parents, Johnny Bell and Eliza; son, Deron; siblings: Betty Lou, Christina, Leonard, Delores, Katherine, Marcianna, Evelyn Lang, and Joann Wade; Nieces and Nephews: Charlotte, Jerry, John, and Dustin; and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Old Pine Point School on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Theodores Catholic Cemetery, Pine Point, MN.

Pallbearers include Shane Bellanger, Greg Stewert, Hector Ruiz, Trulo Adams, Rolando Ellis, and Cruz Adame. Honorary Pallbearers include all her friends and family.
