Bethel P. Visser, 93, Ada, Minnesota, died Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Benedictine Care Community, Ada, MN.

Bethel Pearl Lenz was born February 15, 1923, at Crookston, MN. She was the youngest of three children born to John "Elmer" and Maybell (Reep) Lenz. She was raised on a small farm near Beltrami, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Beltrami United Methodist Church. Bethel attended school in Beltrami and graduated in 1941 as her class Valedictorian.

Bethel was united in marriage to Paul Visser on October 13, 1941, at the Beltrami Methodist Church. They spent their lives farming near Ada. She was an active farm partner with Paul and was very devoted and dedicated to the farm operation. She provided many meals, rides, parts running, and machinery operation. She raised four children born over a period of 20 years. Bethel always supported their activities in school and 4-H. She was an active member of Faith United Church, and served in various roles including women's society. Bethel enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, reading, sewing, cooking, baking, snowmobiling, and playing piano. Her kind, generous soul and beautiful smile will be deeply missed.

Bethel is survived by her children, Lyle (Sondra) Visser, Whitesboro, TX, Janis (Kevin) Lee and Charlene (David) Baker, both of Ada, MN, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and her nephew Dr. Jeffrey Lenz. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, her daughter Paula Evans, son-in-law Alfred Evans, her siblings, Lowell Lenz and Alyce Mae Griffith, a niece Maradee Lenz, and a nephew, Ronald Griffith.

Funeral: 11:00AM Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Faith United Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: 5:00PM to 7:00PM, with a 7:00PM prayer service on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada.

Burial: Ada Municipal Cemetery, Ada, MN.
