Beryl E. Dalby, 84, Ada, Minnesota, died with her family by her side and under the care of Hospice on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Benedictine Care Community, Ada.

Beryl was born October 25, 1932, at home near Beltrami, MN, the daughter of George and Birdie (Durby) Christensen. She was united in marriage to Curtis Dalby on August 22, 1952. They made their home in Fargo where they raised their family. After Curtis' retirement, they moved to Cheyenne, WY. After Curtis passed away in 2014, Beryl moved to Fargo where she resided until moving to Benedictine Living Community in Ada, in April of 2016.

Beryl is survived by her children, Charles (Kristie) Dalby, Hawley, MN, Kay (Dan) Vander Ark, Duluth, MN, Cyndy (David) Emerson, Englewood, OH, and Joel (Pam) Dalby, of Livermore, CO, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curtis, one great granddaughter and one great grandson.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Benedictine Care Community and Hospice of The Red River Valley.

Memorial Service: 11:00AM, Monday, November 7, 2016, at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home, Ada.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.

Interment: North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
