In Loving Memory of Becky Sue Gnadt

Becky Sue Gnadt, 67, Ada, MN, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND, surrounded by her loving family. Becky was born on March 6, 1958 to Oliver, Jr. and Carol (Stennes) Sorenson in Ada, MN. She was baptized at Petri Lutheran Church, rural Ada and was confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN. Becky attended Ada Public School, where she was active in Choir, Band, Volleyball, Annual Staff, Student Council, Track, FHA, and Three Act Plays.

In 4-H she visited Japan through the LABO Exchange Program. She established a special relationship with the Sakata family, hosting Yukiko on her family farm.

Following graduation in 1976, she attended MSUM and Joseph's School of Hair Design. In 1979 she was united in marriage to LeRoy Gnadt at Grace Lutheran Church.

Becky was then employed at Skaurud's Gift Shop and New Image Hair Salon in Ada, MN. In 1989 she and her family moved to Klamath Falls, OR. where she worked at the Cutting Edge Beauty Salon. In 1994 Becky and her family moved to Hemet, CA, where she worked in Customer Service for Gosch Ford. In 1998, Becky and her family moved to Fargo, ND, where she worked in Customer Service at West Coast Beauty Supply. In 2000, she and her family moved to Ada, where she worked at the Dekko Community Center.

Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling in the motorhome, going to Hawaii, spending time with their Air National Guard family, summers at Pinehurst Resort, fishing with her grandchildren, four wheeling with her lake friends, special times with her family, enjoying the perfect sunset, Soapys, The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, The Family Feud, playing Yahtzee, laughing and putting a smile on peoples faces.

Becky is survived by her devoted husband, LeRoy; children, Nicholas Gnadt, Dakabin, Australia, Sarah Gnadt, Ada, MN, step children, Michael (Heather) Gnadt, Ada, MN, Mindy (Steve) Zayachkowsky, Indian Trail, NC, Heidi Bingle, Killeen, TX, her grandchildren, Sierrah, Sienna, Oliver, Edgar; step grandchildren, Maelee, Harleigh, Stephen, Julia, Sean, Timothy;  Mother, Carol Sorenson, siblings, Jeff (Siri) Sorenson, Cindy (Gene) Bjerken, Kim Sorenson and Perry (LeeAnn) Sorenson, sister-in-law, Linda Parsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Sorenson Jr. mother-in-law, Orlaine Gnadt; sister, Trudy Ann, and brothers in-law, Curtis Parsons, Mike Gnadt and Wade Gnadt.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ada, MN, with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 PM.

Interment: Lockhart Pleasant View Cemetery, Rural Ada, MN.
