Arlo Lampton, 74, of Twin Valley, MN, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Arlo Keith Lampton was born on July 8, 1948 in Glyndon, MN, to Lloyd and Martha (Janke) Lampton. Arlo grew up in Ulen, MN. In his younger years, Arlo pursued and shared his musical talents while in a band, playing guitar and singing. Arlo furthered his education at the Detroit Lakes Vocational Technical College in Detroit Lakes, MN, training in small engine mechanics. While attending school, Arlo met the love of his life, Kathy Voeltz, who was his study partner, and the couple were married on December 20, 1991. The couple blended their families and made their home in Faith, MN. Arlo continued to keep busy while working at the Shooting Star Casino until his retirement in 1998. After his retirement, he filled his time with family and friends, loving his role of loved husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. He continued to care for his family by tending to their properties and driving Kathy to work and running errands.

Arlo was gifted with a beautiful voice and he passed on his love of music to his children and grandchildren. Many cherished memories were made between Arlo and family while singing karaoke at the Shooting Star Casino, with Arlo winning at competitions. Never to shy away from the spotlight, he loved to perform for an audience while playing guitar and singing. Arlo was taken from this world too soon, but he continues to watch over and care for his family from Heaven.
