Arlis Claudia Stevenson, 77, of Georgetown, MN, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Arlis was born to Marvin and Alta (Busse) Ambuehl on December 20, 1945. After graduating from Borup High School where she was involved in cheerleading, she attended one year of college at MSUM. She lived with some girlfriends where they played lots of cards and had too much fun!

Arlis married Wayne Stevenson on April 15, 1965 and had 3 sons: Scott, Keith and Kirk. Arlis was a dedicated farm wife and would drop everything to give rides to and from the fields and always had hot meals ready for the boys and anyone else who was helping.

Arlis loved spending time with her family and always spoiled her grandkids! Arlis has traveled all over the world, was active in the church and 4-H, she bowled and taught her tap dancing classes throughout the years! Spending time at the lake, shopping, making cards, sneaking over to the casino, decorating and re-decorating were some of her favorite things to do.

You could always find Arlis hanging out with friends, drinking coffee or coke and dancing. Arlis had such a kind and loving heart, was so generous and always SPARKLED wherever she went!

Arlis is preceded in death by her grandparents; parents, Marvin and Alta; 2 sisters-in-law, Audrey Schultz and Jean Adele Glaze; dear friends, Shaaron Tommerdahl and Jan Kappes; and 4 angel great-grand babies. She is survived by her husband, Wayne; sons, Scott (Mary), Keith (Karla), and Kirk; brother, Jack (Marlys) Ambuehl; sisters-in-law, Janet (Carlen) Mattison and Aneta Samson; grandchildren, Hanna (Chance) Bryan, Shaina (Luke) Hince, Kia Stevenson, Jake (Caitlin) Olson and Colby Stevenson; 2 great-grandchildren, Nora Olson and Abigail Bryan; 3 soon to be great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Winchester Lutheran Church, Borup, MN.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Winchester Lutheran Church, Borup, MN, with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 PM. Also one hour before the memorial service at the church.
