Arlene "Ennie" Leiser, 52, of Fertile, MN, passed away at home, under the care of her family and Hospice, on Friday, May 15, 2020. Ennie was born on January 4, 1968, to Gilbert and Jeannettee (Bilyeu) Ehlert in Carson City, Nevada. At a young age, Ennie moved to Minnesota with her family. She attended Northome High School. On May 16, 2006, Ennie was united in marriage to Kurt Leiser at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fertile, MN.

Ennie worked in the food service industry and as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to visit with friends and the many customers she met. Ennie had an infectious laugh and a bright smile for everyone. She also enjoyed jewelry making and repairing, painting, arts and crafts, taking and drawing pictures, flower gardens, and most of all, she loved visiting with her friends and family.

Ennie is survived by her husband Kurt; sons, Carl (Kacy) Eggert, Wheatland, WY, and Cameron Johnson, Crookston, MN; brother, William Ehlert, International Falls, MN; sister, Rhonda (Tony) Baker, International Falls, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Ennie was preceded in death by her father; aunt, Georgette Sawyer; and grandmother, Ruth Bilyeu.

Funeral: Due to public health concerns with the coronavirus called COVID-19,
a private family funeral will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, May 22, 2020, at the Erikson-Vik-Ganje Funeral Home in Fertile, MN.
