Arlene Urbach was born December 4, 1920, the daughter of Joe and Lillie Urbach. She grew up in the Elliot/Lisbon, North Dakota, area graduating from the Lisbon Public School with the class of 1934. The couple moved to Bremerton Washington, where Clarence was employed in the ship yards until the mid-1940's, when they returned to the area and purchased a farm northeast of Ada, Minnesota. Arlene was very active in all aspects of the farm which they operated until their retirement. In the early 1970's, they moved into Ada to make their home for a few years. In the late 1970's they moved into the Twin Valley Retirement Center. Clarence died December 12, 1990. In 1994, Arlene moved into the Twin Valley Living Center where she lived until the time of her death.
