Antionette Marie Holman, age 69, of Ulen, MN, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 in her home. Toni was born on March 3, 1948 to Dale and Rose Williams in Hot Spring, SD. She was the oldest of five children. She attended school in Moorhead, MN, where she graduated high school from Moorhead High in 1967. Following high school, Toni went on to study at St. Luke's School of Nursing in Fargo, ND. She became a ward clerk for the intensive care unit at St. Luke's Hospital. During this time, she met and fell in love with her soul mate, Erling Holman. The couple was married on November 9, 1973 at St. Joseph Church in Moorhead, and have made their home on their farm northwest of Ulen ever since. Toni worked for Don Hansen Hardware Store in Ulen, before changing jobs to work at K-Mart in Detroit Lakes for 9 years. Toni finished her career at K-Mart in Moorhead by retiring at age 65. Toni was an avid vegetable and flower gardener. She was very proud of her hard work that showed through in her gardens. Toni's cooking and baking were another pastime that she enjoyed and shared with others. She enjoyed taking trips to the casino and traveling. The detail and technique that Toni put into her quilting projects made it clear to others that this was her true passion. Toni was also very active in her church sewing, ladies' aide, and quilters. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her. Toni is survived by her husband of 43 years, Erling; four brothers: Dale (Sandy) Williams, Michael (Lucia) Williams, Kenneth (Jackie) Williams, and Donald Williams; nieces: Melisa, Amanda, Mallory; nephews: Tim, Jason, Peter John; Thomas; special friend, Helly Johnson, and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Rose Williams. Funeral services will be held October 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Twin Valley, MN with Pastor Steve Wold officiating. Visitation will take place one-hour prior. Interment will be at Bethlehem North Cemetery in Ulen, MN with fellowship to follow at the Ulen Event Center.
