Andrew "Andy Man" Boswell, age 29, of Naytahwaush, MN, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Andrew James was born on March 8, 1995, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Ursula Boswell and Jeremy Donovan.  He attended grade school in the Twin Cities Metro area and his high school years were spent in Nebraska.  Following his schooling, Andrew worked construction in Nebraska and spent a few years in Colorado.  In 2007, he moved to the White Earth Reservation and has made Naytahwaush his home, spending the past six years with Neka Sargent.

Andy Man loved the great outdoors.  He enjoyed hiking, spearing, sugar bushing and just being one with nature.  He had a good heart, a great sense of humor and a love for his family.  Growing up, Andrew spent countless hours with his cousins, Aaron and Nate Dog, and they were known to raise a little hell!  He was always willing to be with family and enjoyed laughing and joking around.  He also had a love for his native culture and his creative side allowed him to create many unique craft items showcasing traditional native elements.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Andrew is survived by his mom, Ursula Boswell; father, Jeremy Donovan; step-dad, Christopher Leslie; fiancé, Neka Sargent; grandparents, Jane and Jerome Nelson; sister, Alexis Leslie; brothers, Angelo Boswell and Tristan Donovan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; two aunts, Caroline Boswell and Frances Thompson; uncle, Richard "Cricket" Boswell Jr.; and his best friend, Phillip Wade Jr.

Traditional Services will be held at the Naytahwaush Sports Complex on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.  All night Wake Services will begin Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 5:00 pm with a ceremony at 7:00 pm and continue until the Funeral on Friday.
