Adeline Klemetson, age 81, of Ulen, MN, died on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Sanford Broadway Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Adeline Olson was born on March 8, 1938, to Clarence and Alice Olson in the Hagen Township, west of Ulen. Growing up, Adeline attended country school before enrolling in Ulen High School. As a young woman, she worked at several jobs throughout the community. On October 5, 1963, Adeline was united in marriage to Ernest Klemetson near Hawley, MN. They made their home near Ulen and were blessed with five daughters: Connie, Judy, Debbie, Joyce, and Tamie, followed by two sons, Chad and Richard. Adeline became a full time homemaker, raising her children on the farm, which she enjoyed very much. At the end of September 2019, she became a resident of the Viking Manor Nursing Home. Shortly after, Ernest passed away on October 7, 2019.

Adeline could be found baking, sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Adeline is survived by her children: Connie (Steve) Schroeder of Detroit Lakes, Judy Wolf (Timothy Savior) of Ogema, Debbie Laporte of Langdon, ND, Joyce (Eric) Boman of Twin Valley, and Tamie Nelson of Ulen, Chad (Lisa) Klemetson of Dilworth and Richard Klemetson of Hitterdal; 25 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents, Clarence and Alice; one son in law, Ken LaPorte; one grandson, Keith; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020, at Salem Lutheran Church, Hitterdal, MN. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 26, 2019, from 3-5 p.m. with a Prayer Service starting at 4:30 p.m. all at the church. Burial will be held in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
