Adam M. Rude, age 28 of Fargo, ND, formerly Callaway, MN, died Thursday, December 22, 2016 in his home.
Adam Michael Rude, the son of Kevin and Brenda (Lee) Rude, was born on November 23, 1988, in Detroit Lakes, MN. His family lived in Callaway where he spent his childhood. At the age of seven, Adams dad passed away and he quickly became the man of the house, lovingly surrounded by his mom and three sisters. He attended Detroit Lakes Public School where he was always active with friends and proudly played on the football team. Following his high school graduation in 2006, Adam attended Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, MN, where he earned his degree in Criminal Justice.
Adam spent most of his career working at D & M Industries in Fargo. Most recently, he had been working construction and various concrete jobs in the Fargo area. Adam loved to socialize, enjoyed hanging out with friends and making memories with family. He liked to spend time at the lake cruising around in the pontoon. Adam was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. He also enjoyed online gaming in his spare time. Adam bravely fought but ultimately lost his battle with depression. He will be truly missed by all those who loved him.
Adam is survived by his three sisters; Jennifer Rude, Jessica Rude, and CaitLynn Juntunen, all of Detroit Lakes, MN; one nephew, Skyler Krause; his maternal grandparents, Dean and Violet Lee of Gary, MN; aunts and uncles: Roger (Dawn) Lee of Gary, Angie (Mark) Dueck of Twin Valley, MN, Steve (Cleone) Rude and Allen Rude both of Anchorage, AK, Darrin (Jody) Rude of Fargo, ND, and Liane DeSalle of Tucson, AZ; and 12 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kevin and Brenda Rude; an infant brother, Jason; paternal grandparents: Mylen and Hermina Rude; and two uncles, Robert Lee and Chuck DeSalle.
