Aaron Horton, 25, of Fertile, MN, died Wednesday July 3, 2013, in Gary, MN.
Aaron Stephen Horton was born on June 28, 1988 to Stephen and Debra (Heyen) Horton in Springfield, MO. At the age of one year he would walk over to Grandma's house on his own. The family moved to Fargo, ND, where Aaron went to head start. They moved to Fertile, MN and Aaron started school there. He enjoyed school and made many friends. He graduated from Fertile-Beltrami High School in 2006. After graduation Aaron moved to Grand Forks, ND and worked at various restaurants. He moved back to Fertile in 2013 and worked in Mentor, MN, sorting potatoes.
Aaron liked working on cars and going swimming and tubing. He enjoyed playing X-Box Live with his friends. Aaron was a happy person who took things to heart. He was a kind hearted person who tried to help anyone in need.
Aaron is survived by his mother, Debra, step father, Steven Kennedy, Fertile, MN; one sister: Kisha (Zack) Pederson, Fertile; three brothers: Chad (Janice) Horton; Jason (Samantha) Horton; Brandon Horton, all of Fertile; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Horton, 1991, grandparents and a nephew, Isaac Horton.
